Player guide
Your first search
Explore first, choose carefully, then submit one set of bills. Here is what each part of the game does.
1. Enter the clearing
Open the game and choose a nickname of 3–20 characters. Choose a name you are comfortable displaying publicly if you become the verified Tree Millionaire. Do not use an email address, phone number or other private information as your nickname.
The welcome screen shows the current daily allowance. Starting a free search uses that day’s free entitlement; leaving the page is not a way to get a fresh attempt. Check that you have a working connection and enough time before starting.
2. Use the camera
| Action | Desktop | Phone / tablet |
|---|---|---|
| Orbit the tree | Primary-button drag | One-finger drag |
| Zoom | Mouse wheel | Two-finger pinch |
| Move the view | Right-button drag | Move two fingers together |
| Choose a bill | Click a bill | Tap a bill |
Reset returns to the default view. Top looks down into the canopy, Crown brings the upper branches into view, and Under looks beneath them. If overlapping bills make a tap ambiguous, rotate slightly or zoom before choosing. A drag moves the view; use a deliberate tap or click to select.
Day and night change lighting only. Grass, rocks, leaves and the waterfall are decoration, not selectable targets or hints.
3. Mark and review your choices
There are 2,400 bills and one hidden target for your search. A first-day search permits six different choices, with a two-minute limit. The selection counter shows what you have marked. Review your set before checking it.
Choosing more than your allowance or sending duplicate bill IDs is not accepted. Moving the camera and marking a bill do not ask the server whether that individual bill wins. The server checks the submitted set together, so there is no sequence of free single-bill guesses.
4. Submit before the search ends
Use “Check my bills” when ready. Keep the page open while the request finishes. The result is decided by the server, not by an animation or a locally displayed number. An expired session can be refused; do not rely on leaving submission until the final instant.
If a request fails, follow the game’s retry message. Repeatedly refreshing or opening tabs cannot create extra valid searches. A connection interruption does not imply that the server never received your request.
Daily progress and optional searches
The day boundary is midnight UTC, which can be a different local hour where you live. A completed free search advances your streak for the next consecutive day. The allowance begins at six and rises by two per streak day, capped at forty.
One to six missed UTC days move the streak back by that many levels; seven or more return it to the first level. The game’s server-provided status is the source of truth for your next allowance.
Verified referral choices are a separate balance used in bonus searches. Rewarded advertising is not currently available in production. You do not have to watch or click advertising to use the free daily search.
